Policies and Refunds
BOOKING, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICIES
At Play Tide Charters, the safety, well-being, and satisfaction of our clients are our top priorities. Therefore, we ask that you carefully read the following policies before confirming your booking.
BOOKING POLICIES

It is the client's responsibility to inform us in advance of any medical condition, allergy, physical limitation, or special need that must be taken into account to ensure their safety and comfort during the activity.

Any changes to the number of passengers or cancellation requests must be made at least 24 hours in advanceof the scheduled tour start time.

All requests must be made in writing and confirmed via our official email address. playtidecharters@gmail.com
CANCELLATION AND NO REFUND POLICY
No refunds will be issued in the following cases:

Changes to the number of passengers requested within 24 hours of the activity start time.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
-
Passengers who do not appear at the time of boarding (no-show).

Early cancellation of the tour at the client's request, including, but not limited to:
-
Weather conditions not considered dangerous
-
Dizziness or other personal discomfort during the activity
-
Additionally:
-
No partial or full refunds will be issued if the client decides to end the experience before the scheduled time.

The maximum waiting time is 15 minutes before the reservation is considered a no-show.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS

In case of cloudy skies or light drizzle, the tour will proceed as scheduled.

In situations of heavy rain, strong winds, dangerous waves, or thunderstorms, the decision to cancel the tour will be made exclusively by the captain, always prioritizing the safety of passengers and crew.

If the tour is canceled due to adverse weather conditions, the client may choose to:

Reschedule the activity, subject to availability.
-
Request a full refund, if unable to take the tour on another date.
CANCELLATION DUE TO ILLNESS
If a client cannot attend the tour for health reasons, they must present a valid medical certificate, signed by an authorized professional, before the departure time.
Once the documentation has been verified, a partial refund equivalent to 70% of the amount paid will be offered (applicable only to full payments).
Reservations with a deposit payment:
In cases where the client has only paid the deposit, it will not be refunded.
The client may receive a refund of the remaining balance, provided it has not been canceled, after deducting operational expenses already incurred, such as:

Staff costs
-
Food and beverages
-
Other logistical expenses associated with the activity
The final refund amount will be determined after evaluating the corresponding costs.
REFUND EXCLUSIONS
Play Tide Charters will not issue refunds for reasons other than those previously indicated, including, but not limited to:

Visa or immigration document issues.
-
Expired, nonexistent, or invalid travel insurance.
-
Flight cancellations or changes not related to force majeure.
-
Voluntary itinerary changes by the client.
By confirming any booking with Play Tide Charters, the client fully accepts these Booking, Cancellation, and Refund Policies.
